Make Things Happen.
2nd Story is a completely non-government funded program that relies on generous people like you to help us support our nearly 350 members. No matter the size, every donation we receive provides our members with the events and activities they love, all at no cost to them. 2nd Story is one of the few organizations of it's kind in the country that does not require membership fees or activity charges. We are able to provide this kind of unique experience because of the generosity we have experienced over the last 40 years. Sponsorship & Fundraising Events
Meat & Greet
For the past 3 years, 2nd Story's board of directors have hosted our Meat & Greet fundraiser at Off the Vine. It is a silent auction/free-will donation event that always attracts a large crowd.The event features a variety of food including: Elk Sausage, Walleye, Pheasant, Cheese & Dips. Celebrate 2nd Story
Celebrate 2nd Story is an exciting new chapter for us! It is a Mardi Gras themed gala event that features silent auction,
live auction, bingo, $1 grab bags and
walk around raffles. With dinner, drinks
and good company, it's a night you
won't want to miss. The event
takes place in early Spring
of each year.
Community Drive
The Community Drive Fundraiser is an annual mail solicitation program. We have been participating in this drive for many years. 2nd Story sends out letters to the public requesting funds to assure continuance of our club. Return envelopes are included with the letter. The mailer explains in detail the necessity of our club, and how important it is for our community.
Memorials and Accolades
You can honor or remember a loved one by making a donation in their name. Your donation will be used to continue the work done at 2nd Story in helping our members grow and thrive.
A Gift In Celebration
A gift in honor of a friend or loved one is a unique way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, wedding or just because. You can also dedicate your special occasion to 2nd Story and ask that in lieu of gifts, donations are made to our club. If you would like to do so, please use the space provided on PayPal to indicate the person you are honoring. Include the name and address of the person you would like to receive an acknowledgment of your gift.
Wall of Honor
In 2016 James Seifert chose to use his Eagle Scout project to help the 2nd Story celebrate its 40th Anniversary. He built us our Wall of Honor, a place where everyone has the opportunity to celebrate their business, family & loved ones. A brick may be purchased for $100, and a plaque will be engraved featuring a message of the donors choosing. If you would like to purchase one, please use the space provided on PayPal to indicate the person you are honoring. Include the name and address of the person you would like to receive an acknowledgment of your gift.
A Gift In Memorial
A charitable gift in memory of a loved one is a special and lasting way to celebrate their life. We at 2nd Story want to help honor your loved one as well. If you would like to give a memorial gift to 2nd Story, please use the space provided on PayPal to indicate the person you are honoring. Also include the name and address of the person you would like to receive an acknowledgment of your tribute.
